Module 4
In module 4 we learned about acids and bases
1. Acids and bases are found in everyday products that we use and eat such as detergent, lemon juice, and vinegar.
2. Products with very low ph levels can harm a persons health. The acid in soda can wear down the enamelin teeth.
3.Its important to know if something is acidic or basic when being mixed together. If you put an acidic solution on metal it may start to corrode.
4. Neutral products are probably mostly consumed because its a "safe" substance. Our stomach acid is considered neutral
5. Bases are usually soaps and a substance like water.
